Andy Lau (formerly known as Lau Fu-wing, Andy Lau, born September 27, 1961) is a Hong Kong actor, singer, lyricist and producer. He is one of the “Four King of Heaven” in the Hong Kong music industry.
He has won the Best Actor Award at the Hong Kong Film Awards three times and the Best Actor Award at the Golden Horse Awards twice. He has appeared in more than 140 films. As a singer, he has won the top ten most popular male singer award six times (as of 2004) and was named “most awarded Hong Kong male singer” by the Guinness Book of World Records. On February 12, 2021, the film The Surge of Crowds, which he produced and starred in, was scheduled to be released in the Chinese mainland. He played Zhou Quan.
