大部分患者一种退烧药就有效 ， 但是如果服药后1-2小时体温仍不降 ， 在对两种药物都耐受的前提下 ， 可以服用另一种不同药物来帮助降温 。 这在有些情况下是可以救命的 。 为什么要等1-2小时再服药呢？因为药物起效通常需要45-90分钟 。 这样可以避免不必要的多吃药 。
同时/交替用药的时候 ， 两种药物仍要遵循推荐的用药间隔 。 泰诺推荐每隔6小时用一次 ， 布洛芬6-8小时 。 建议可以用纸笔记下来每次给药时间 ， 避免遗忘 。
从药物动力学角度看 ， 只要不过量服药 ， 人体一般都可以充分代谢排出药物 ， 不会对身体造成毒性 。 比如口服单剂量200毫克的布洛芬 ， 血清浓度在1小时达到最高 ， 6小时以后就已经很低了【15】 。 泰诺的药物动力学图谱也类似 ， 有很多各种不同配方的药物动力学图谱 。
因为泰诺和布洛芬的代谢途径不同 ， 我个人认为如果对两种药物都耐受 ， 同时/交替用药的危险远远低于单种药物在体内过量积累 。 总之 ， 这两种药物的药效是有人群差异的 。 为达到缓解症状的目的 ， 尽可能服用最少剂量的药 ， 这也是用药的最基本标准 。
